EXCLUSIVE: Becca Bowen Ups the Stakes and Takes Her Chances in Love on '90s Country Inspired 'Bettin' On You'

When it comes to love, you've got to be in it to win it. And even then, you might lose. The latest single from Becca Bowen is all about taking those chances and betting on the hand your dealt as she takes a seat at the poker table of love hoping she'll find her two of a kind if she plays her cards right.

In a long tradition of country songs about gambling, 'Bettin' On You' is a foot stomping countrified glam rock homage to '90s country queens like Shania and Jo Dee Messina.

"'Bettin’ On You' is about betting on someone’s love and doing whatever it takes to win," Becca Bowen shared. "The lyrics compare the game of poker to the challenge ahead. This gives this summer jam an intriguing spin on the story of pursuing a love interest."

Born and raised in the small town of West Columbia, South Carolina, Becca's country charm and gospel background have shaped her unique musical style that culminates in a blend of traditional country with a soulful approach. Releasing her debut album, Like You've Never Been Loved, in 2022, featuring songs co-written with country stars like Lee Brice and Rachel Bradshaw, the album paved the way for her 2024 EP County Line, which includes 'If I’m Being Honest' and 'Son of a Gun.'

Written by Becca Bowen and Sam Woods, 'Bettin' On You' is the first taste of new music in 2025 and the follow up to 'Tangled in Your Love' and 'Heartbreaking Business' from last year.
