Excuuuuse me! It looks like Ella Langley and Riley Green have officially turned their summer staple, 'you look like you love me', into a song fit for the silver screen.
The pair star in a cinematic new visual for their hit duet, turning the sultry honky tonk waltz into a Frontier Age epic as Green portrays a wanted man with Langley taking up the role of barroom entertainer.
Dripping in 19th century Wild West garb, the duo find themselves falling in love, locking eyes across a dust-laden saloon and taking a spin around its sawdust floor as the tune unfolds.
They may be somewhere out West in the video, but the two Alabama natives turned the production into a celebration of the Yellowhammer State, welcoming fellow statesman and singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson into the role of steely-eyed lawman. There's another familiar face...and pair of pointy ears...that graces the video, as well, when Green's trusty companion, Carl the Cowboy Corgi, makes an appearance.
It's a charming visual accompaniment to a song that has recently taken the charts by storm.
Just weeks after the tune was officially released on June 21, 'you look like you love me' debuted at No. 53 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been climbing the singles chart ever since. The song marks Langley's first-ever career entry on the all-genre ranking and Green's fifth.
Now, with an entertaining new music video in tow, 'you look like you love me' is sure to be a shoo-in come awards season.
