Did Drake just drop another hint that Morgan Wallen will be featured on his eagerly awaited new album, Iceman?

The Toronto rap-star donned a custom Morgan Wallen and Big Loud outfit for his show in Berlin, Germany last night (Thursday, September 11th), which featured the artwork for Wallen's latest album, I'm the Problem, emblazoned across the back.

On the motorcycle-styled jacket, you can see Big Loud - Wallen's longtime label - printed on the arm, and a big WOLF scrawled across the front, along with a plethora of country-coded brand-names, such as Lucchese and Ariat. On the right chest of the jacket, there is the iconic Nashville insignia, as well as an American flag.

Throughout his $ome $pecial $hows 4 U European tour, Drake has been using his outfits to drop hints about his forthcoming album, Iceman, which is expected to see the Toronto native unpacking his high-profile 2024 beef with Kendrick Lamar.

For instance, he's worn jackets emblazoned with I Know What They Did Last Summer and Iceman over the course of his tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR, which is in promotion of the OVO Sound team-mates’ widely acclaimed $ome $exy $ongs 4 U album.

Drake and Wallen have been good buddies ever since the former recruited the country chart-topper to be in his ‘You Broke My Heart’ music video back in December 2023.

Since then, rumours of a collaboration have been flying around frenetically, with fans desperately hoping these two musical titans might finally have joined forces in the studio.

Earlier this summer, Drake made a cameo appearance during Wallen's pre-show walk-out in Houston, Texas, which reignited the excitement around a potential link-up.

More recently, Wallen responded to one of Drake's Instagram carousels - which, again, have been peppered with cryptic clues about Iceman - by referencing a photo of some unreleased Drake merch with the words I Miss You A Little Bit More Tonight written across it. We suspect this could be the name of their collaboration.

As well as the possibility of a blockbuster Morgan Wallen feature on Drake's Iceman, we're hoping Wallen has convinced Drizzy to hop on the long-teased extended version of his I'm the Problem ‘Interlude’. The ’Whiskey Glasses’ crooner has hinted that he's recording a lengthier rendition of that R&B-infused track, and we think the composition would mesh perfectly with Drake's hazy, atmospheric sound.

There's no confirmation yet of any official collaboration, but with Morgan Wallen currently in Drake's home country of Canada for the final stretch of his I'm the Problem Tour, and Drake continuing to drop new singles - such as ‘DOG HOUSE’ with Julia Wolf and Yeat this week - we think an announcement could be on the horizon.

What's more, Drake is still sending not-so-subliminal shots at Universal and accusing his label of using bots and other underhand tactics to boost the streams and visibility of Kendrick Lamar's diss track, ‘Not Like Us’. He is approaching the end of his contract with Universal, and is rumoured to be eyeing up a highly lucrative deal with Sony Music, with some speculating that the label intentionally sought to damage their artist's reputation during the beef, in order to hamper Drake's negotiations with his new label. The court case is still ongoing.

Even so, the ideal response from Drake would be to secure another No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and in doing so, outpace one of his biggest idols, Michael Jackson.

And if a No. 1 hit is the objective, who better to team up with than Morgan Wallen, who has dominated both the Billboard Hot 100 and 200 charts over the past few years.

We'll have to wait and see if this is all mere conjecture, and Drake was simply showing love to his good friend in Berlin, or whether ‘The Boy’ really is teasing a seismic, game-changing collaboration. As we highlighted last week, Drake has a longstanding affinity with country music, and a joint track with Wallen would be the culmination of years of flirtation with both the Nashville and Texas country scene.
