Dolly Parton’s MusiCares tribute is heading to Netflix.

Parton was the first country artist to be honoured with the MusiCares Person of the year award, during a star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles in 2019.

The event featured Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton and Parton’s God-daughter Miley Cyrus, who all paid tribute to the Country Queen by performing some of her hits live onstage.

Yesterday (3/22), Parton announced that the show will be available to watch on Netflix as of next month.

Speaking about the show, she said “MusiCares brought together some incredible artists to celebrate my career in 2019. Soon you can watch that unforgettable night whenever you want!”

Parton has worked with the streaming site before; last Christmas her musical film Christmas On The Square, starring Christine Baranski and Treat Williams, was released exclusively to Netflix.

Alongside this, an eight-part anthology series based on the singers biggest hits, called ‘Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings’, was released in 2019.

Parton recently received her first shot of the Moderna Covid 19 vaccine, which she helped to fund.
