Dasha treated the packed-out crowd at her Chevy Riverfront set on the opening day of CMA Fest 2025 to a moving, vulnerable performance of her new song, ‘Oh Anna’.
The ‘Austin’ hitmaker has been performing the unreleased offering in recent weeks, with fans hoping this is a sign that the fast-emerging artist is plotting to release ‘Oh Anna’ soon.
The evocative track finds Dasha once again showcasing the rich emotionality she continually laces into her music, with the California native addressing someone she appears to have lost touch with of late, “I need you / I left you / But I didn't lose you”.
Although the ‘Heartbreaker From Tennessee’ crooner hasn't yet delved into the meaning behind this striking new song, it seems ‘Oh Anna’ could be Dasha singing to a younger version of herself that she has drifted away from. Dasha's first name is Anna.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that Dasha is planning to include ‘Oh Anna’ on her forthcoming studio album, alongside recently released gems such as ‘Not At This Party’.
This set served as one of the many highlights from a stacked Thursday at CMA Fest 2025, with ticket-holders able to witness a spectacular array of country music throughout the day-time stages, before heading to the Nissan Stadium for the evening shows.
