Colby T. Helms has announced that he will head to the UK in early February 2025 for his eagerly anticipated Tales From Virginia tour, presented by JOY. Concerts and Holler Live.
It represents a welcome return for the fast-emerging singer-songwriter, who impressed on his UK debut at AmericanaFest in January, leaving fans across The Pond clamouring for the Virginia native to come back on a full-scale tour as soon as possible.
Now, those pleas have been answered, with the ‘Higher Ground’ crooner unveiling his keenly awaited UK tour for February 2025. As part of the Tales From Virginia run, Helms will bring his brand of Appalachian alt-country to Brighton, London, Norwich, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Excitingly, in addition to this being his second trip to England, it will also see Colby T. Helms performing in Scotland for the first time ever, with tour-stops lined-up in Edinburgh's much-loved Sneaky Pete's venue and Glasgow's popular Hug and Pint.

It will continue the momentum built by the arrival of Colby T. Helms’ debut full-length album, Tales of Misfortune, in January, which Helms followed up with the celebrated four-song Live From Powell River Sessions EP around five months later.
Tales of Misfortune captured Colby T. Helms’ rugged, Americana-leaning style and his powerful storytelling ability, with the up-and-comer showcasing his penchant for bluegrass and folk throughout the richly textured project. The name of the forthcoming UK tour draws inspiration from this album, and those lucky enough to get their hands on tickets will be looking forward to hearing stand-outs from the record live.
UK fans can get a sneak preview of the rawness and refreshing diversity of Colby T. Helms’ performances through his Live From Powell River Sessions project. On this stellar EP, Helms’ distinctive vocal delivery, which feels coloured by the pioneering sound of fellow Appalachian trailblazer, Tyler Childers, takes centre-stage, as he regales the listener with visceral, semi-autobiographical tales.
In addition to getting the chance to hear fan-favourites such as ‘Mountain Brandy’ and ‘Daddy's Pocket Knife’, attendees at Colby T. Helms’ 2025 UK tour will be hoping he makes room in his setlist for some unreleased tracks too.
