Chris Young and Kane Brown have teamed up for the ‘Famous Friends’ music video.
The video for the track, which is currently climbing up the country charts, features some of Brown and Young’s real life friends as they put on a live rooftop performance in Downtown Nashville.
Speaking about the video, Young said, “I can’t imagine a more perfect video for ‘Famous Friends'. [Director] Peter knocked it out of the park on this one! I had a blast seeing my friends on set, and that rooftop performance with Kane is some of the most fun I’ve had in a video”.
The song was written by Young, Cary Barlowe and Corey Crowder on a tour stop in Tampa back in 2018.
The autobiographical lyrics mention Rutherford County, where Chris grew up in Tennessee, and Kane’s hometown of Hamilton County along with Nashville’s Davidson County.
An anthemic tribute to the names, faces, and legendary stories that make up each hometown, 'Famous Friends' is Young and Brown’s second collaboration together since their team-up on Kane’s 2017 song 'Setting the Night On Fire’.
