After teasing the third act of his Sagebrush Trilogy, Charley Crockett has officially announced his brand new album, Age of the Ram. The record drops on April 3rd 2026.
It serves as a continuation of the trilogy that all started in March 2025 with Lonesome Drifter, and followed with August's Dollar a Day. Crockett hinted at the imminent final chapter on the latter, including ‘Age of the Ram (Theme)’ as one of the tracks.
Now, at long last, we have confirmation of the keenly anticipated third album in the trilogy, with Crockett unveiling Age of the Ram alongside a teaser trailer that sees him running through the wintry woods, seemingly trying to catch up with a departing train.
The forthcoming project extends the ‘I'm Just a Clown’ singer-songwriter's hot streak of releases, with Crockett cementing himself as one of the most prolific artists in modern country.
Lonesome Drifter marked Crockett's first project at his new home of Island Records, following a lengthy stint at Thirty Tigers, with both Dollar a Day and Age of the Ram also released via Island. The new record is set to feature 20 songs, including the fan-favourite ‘Kentucky Too Long’, which Crockett dropped last week.
As part of its expansive tracklist, the alt-country maverick's new project will feature ‘Lonesome Dove’, ‘Fastest Gun Alive’, ‘I Shot Jesse James’, ‘Sweet Mother Texas’ and more.
