Charley Crockett has reminded us why he has a reputation for being such a prolific artist, with the Texas crooner releasing a brand new single and video, ‘Trinity River - Live From The Ryman’.
The studio version of ‘Trinity River’ appears on Crockett's acclaimed 2022 album, The Man From Waco, which has also spawned much-loved tracks such as ‘Odessa’ and ‘I'm Just A Clown’.
The uptempo, jazz-infused ‘Trinity River’ first appeared back in 2015, but fans were excited to see the song had received a re-release as part of The Man From Waco.
The new live version captures Crockett's trademark stage presence and playful swagger, which is only amplified by the hallowed surroundings of The Ryman Auditorium.
Fans of the charismatic singer-songwriter will be wondering whether he'll be making more recordings from his Ryman performance available soon, and some suspect the new release could well be a hint that a live project is on the way.
Charley Crockett recently returned from his first ever tour of Australia in early March, and is now preparing to head back out on the road for a Spring series of shows across the US.
The new live version of ‘Trinity River’ will have certainly whetted fans’ appetites ahead of these dates, with Crockett having become widely renowned for delivering electrifying performances wherever he goes.
