Charles Wesley Godwin's wistful, intricate ode to running away from your troubles and building a life with your love, ‘Temporary Town’, is the latest song to be featured on Yellowstone.
The brand new episode of Season 5 Part 2 aired last night (Sunday, November 24th), with a flurry of high-octane action scenes and seismic revelations ensuring the momentum has not slowed down following the shocking start to the show's final season.
Without giving any spoilers regarding the new episode, titled Three Fifty-Three, ‘Temporary Town’ serves as a welcome moment of respite for Kayce, Monica and their son, Tate, amidst the chaos that has been engulfing them throughout the season so far.
‘Temporary Town’ appears on Charles Wesley Godwin's widely lauded sophomore album, How the Mighty Fall, which established the West Virginia crooner as one of the most exciting new voices to emerge in the intersection between folk and country.
So far in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2, viewers have been able to enjoy Colter Wall's ‘For a Long While’ and ‘Night Herding Song’, Flatland Cavalry and Kaitlin Butts’ ‘How Long’ and more.
Yellowstone has become synonymous with its spellbinding soundtrack, which has significantly altered the country music landscape and served as the springboard from which artists such as Zach Bryan and Lainey Wilson have exploded in popularity. Fans are still keeping their fingers crossed that Wilson returns as Abby, the love interest of Ryan, played by Ian Bohen, at some point during this season.
New episodes of Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 air on Sundays at 8pm ET via the Paramount Network in the US and on Paramount+ in Canada, with the season finale dropping on December 15th.
