Brad Paisley will be bringing his Grammy-winning musical talents to American Idol hopefuls in the next few weeks.

The country crooner, alongside actress and pop vocalist Keke Palmer, has been tapped by this year's judges – Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie – to join the long-running singing competition show as a guest mentor. He and Palmer will help mold the next Season 24 star.

The pair will be featured during the Top 20 round as the show takes on Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii. The episode will air in two parts, the first on March 16 and the second on March 23.

His spring foray on the show, however, will not be Paisley's first. The 'Mud on the Tires' star recently surprised the judges with a prank appearance during the show's Nashville auditions, which aired during the season's premiere on Monday (Jan. 26).

For the jest, the artist bugged fellow country star Luke Bryan's ear, giving him strange instructions to disrupt a staged audition and catch Underwood and Richie off guard.

It's safe to assume that, come Hawaii and the show's Top 20 round, even more hilarity is bound to follow Paisley.

New episodes of American Idol with air every Monday at 8/7c on ABC. The next day, episodes will be available to stream on Hulu. The date of the finale is yet to be unveiled, but is expected to air sometime in May.
