BigXthaPlug Shares Cover Art for Viral Bailey Zimmerman Collaboration, ‘All The Way’, as Fans Plead For a Release Date

When rap-star BigXthaPlug shared a preview of his new country collaboration with Bailey Zimmerman, ‘All The Way’, he would be forgiven for feeling a slight sense of apprehension, given the genre's general skepticism when ‘outsiders’ venture into Nashville.

However, it didn't take long for country fans to latch onto ‘All The Way’ and recognise it as the earworm it undoubtedly is, with the snippet of Bailey Zimmerman's brooding, infectious chorus and BigXthaPlug's ferocious, hi-hat-fuelled verse going viral across TikTok just a matter of days after it was first teased earlier in February.

Now, thankfully, BigXthaPlug has shared both the cover art and a pre-save link for ‘All The Way’, which makes us think - and hope - the official release date is looming on the horizon. The cover is the song-title on a black background, written in a countrified font.

Initially, we feared it might be a lengthy wait before we got to hear the full version of ‘All The Way’, given the fact that BigXthaPlug only released the deluxe version of TAKE CARE at the end of January. Excitingly, though, the appearance of this pre-save link hopefully indicates we'll be getting the track in the coming weeks.

It serves as the first country-leaning track with the Texas rapper as the lead artist, with BigXthaPlug having dipped his toes into Music City in the past when he linked up with Shaboozey on ‘Drink Don't Need No Mix’, one of the many stand-outs from the latter's widely celebrated 2024 record, Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going.

In recent weeks, BigXthaPlug has continued to tease a forthcoming country EP featuring a star-studded guestlist, including Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, Shaboozey and Jelly Roll.

Earlier in February, ERNEST shared a photo from the studio with BigX and Post, again underlining that the ‘Change Me’ hitmaker's highly anticipated country-trap record is in the works.

After a blockbuster 2024 that saw an array of artists outside the genre trying their hand at country music, including Beyoncé and Post Malone, perhaps 2025 is the year BigXthaPlug cements himself as one of modern music's premier genre-blenders.
