Beyoncé Kicks Off Cowboy Carter Tour with Live Debuts of ‘PROTECTOR’, ‘DAUGHTER’, ‘AMEN’ and More in Los Angeles

Beyoncé delivered a spellbinding, sprawling set as she launched her keenly anticipated Cowboy Carter and the Chitlin’ Circuit Tour at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Attendees at the packed-out show were treated to an array of live debuts from the global megastar's widely acclaimed 2024 album, COWBOY CARTER, which marked Beyoncé's momentous debut country record. Thankfully, energising fan-favourites such as ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’ and ‘SPAGHETTII’ made their way onto the setlist.

Beyoncé introduced an endearingly familial element into the histrionic set when she brought out her daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi, for the first ever live rendition of ‘PROTECTOR’.

We also got live debuts of COWBOY CARTER stand-outs such as ‘AMERIICAN REQUIEM’, ‘ALLIIGATOR TEARS’, ‘JUST FOR FUN’, ‘FLAMENCO’, ‘II HANDS II HEAVEN’ and ‘BODYGUARD’.

In addition, ticket-holders were able to enjoy ‘Daddy Lessons’ - the song Beyoncé performed during her now-infamous CMA Awards set - for the first time since 2026.

The set was split into eight blockbuster acts, with each flurry of tracks elevated by the breathtaking staging. At various points, Beyoncé flies across the stadium in a red convertible, dances alongside a giant robot arm and soars on a pink horseshoe.

It's almost an insult to call this a mere ‘concert’, with Beyoncé bringing the symbolism and layered meanings of COWBOY CARTER to life in this visceral, enchanting spectacle.
