Viral newcomer Bayker Blankenship seems to be heading into 2025 with even more hits in hand. With the upcoming release of his newly teased tune, '300 Miles', he'll be giving fans a little taste of what's still to come from the young star.
His new single is scheduled to arrive next Wednesday (Dec. 11), the year-end release marking the follow up his viral smash, 'Maxed Out', and his subsequent EP, Younger Years.
Announcing the song's arrival on social media, the artist also shared a little about his whirlwind 2024, writing, "This has been the most extraordinary year of my life, surpassing even my wildest dreams. I started this journey a few years ago, simply strumming a guitar. The overwhelming support and love I’ve received since maxed out was released has filled me with such gratitude for this opportunity. It has also taught me a valuable lesson, while all this music stuff is incredibly enjoyable and rewarding, sometimes, the longing for home can be stronger than anything else."
Detailing the upcoming release, he continued, "This song was written during my last cross-country tour, as I explored new places and breathtaking views I’ve never seen before. I can’t wait to share my story through this song..."
'300 Miles' seems to be a heartfelt tune about home and the people we are because of the places that raised us. It's likely to be just as reflective as Blankenship's words above and illuminating of the young artist's road ahead.
