Following the last show on Morgan Wallen's 2024 One Night At A Time world tour in Charlotte, North Carolina this weekend, Bailey Zimmerman has taken to socials to pay tribute to the lessons he's learned from being out on the road with Morgan for two years.

Although the direct support has largely changed from date to date, Bailey has been the opener for the vast majority of dates throughout Morgan's One Night At A Time run, which was recently revealed to be the highest grossing country tour of all time.

Bailey has regularly cited the ‘Everything I Love’ hitmaker as one of his biggest influences, and the fast-emerging artist has doubled-down on his praise of Morgan Wallen in a new post.

Bailey Zimmerman reflected on the bittersweet feelings he's experiencing after the end of the tour, “Sad to say but last night was my last show on the “One Night At A Time” World Tour… We’ve been on this tour since the beginning of 2023 and I SWEAR it feels like just yesterday we were on our way to the first show NERVOUS AS FRICK”.

He expanded, “And within a blink of an eye ITS ALREADY OVER”, before going on to stress how he'll never forget the pieces of advice and wisdom Morgan Wallen has imparted during that time, “@morganwallen I’ve looked up to you since I was 15 years old buddy… To say that I’ve been on tour with you for 2 years now is absolutely mind blowing and let me tell you 15 y/o me is FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW”.

Bailey Zimmerman highlighted, “you’ve brought me alongside you to arenas and stadiums all over the world… you’ve taught me not only how rock peoples faces off… but also how important it is to be yourself no matter what people think and for that I will always be grateful… Thank you for believing in me… words could never express the gratitude I have for you… You’re a freaking legend… THANK YOU BRO”.

The ‘Holy Smokes’ crooner concluded with a heartfelt message directed at fans that have attended his shows, “To anybody that’s showed up early the last 2 years just know that I didn’t take 1 second of that for granted… yall have supported me through thick and thin and I can’t wait to keep proving to yall that I’m meant to be here”.

Throughout the tour, Bailey Zimmerman and Morgan Wallen would often join forces on-stage for either a high-energy rendition of ‘Cowgirls’ or a simmering take on ‘I Deserve a Drink’. On the final night of the tour at Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium, Bailey and Morgan teamed up once more for a rousing duet of ’Cowgirls’, injecting an additional sense of energy and electricity into their delivery of the No. 1 single.

Since he first joined Morgan Wallen's tour two years ago, Bailey Zimmerman was still largely considered a country prodigy with a bright future in the genre, having released his impressive debut Leave the Light On EP and a smattering of successful singles.

Now, two years on, Bailey Zimmerman has evolved into a festival headliner and one of the leading figures in the genre, with his next album remaining one of the most highly anticipated country projects. Bailey dropped his latest single, ’Holding On’, on Friday (October 18th), ensuring the momentum remains high heading into 2025.
