Country Thunder Saskatchewan is shaping up to be a heater come 2025 as organizers have unveiled the high-octane lineup set to take the stage in idyllic Craven from July 10-13.
Leading the way is Gramm-nominated entertainer and 2015 headliner Jason Aldean, who will anchor the event alongside newcomer genre-blender Bailey Zimmerman and Diamond-certified icons Def Leppard.
Joining the star-studded headliners will be a collection of new and established favorites in the genre, including Nate Smith, Tyler Hubbard, Kip Moore, Sara Evans and Mackenzie Carpenter.
Given this is one of the biggest festivals held up north of the border, Country Thunder Saskatchewan will also play host to a long list of award-winning Canadian acts throughout the weekend, such as Tim Hicks, James Barker Band, The Road Hammers, Jess Moskaluke, Owen Riegling, Tommy Charles and Hailey Benedict, as well as Juno-nominated country group, Hunter Brothers, who will headline the annual Kick-Off Party on Thursday, July 10.
“We’re thrilled to bring this incredible list of talent to Saskatchewan this year,” shared Country Thunder CEO, Troy Vollhoffer. “Not only can we boast that Jason Aldean and Bailey Zimmerman, two of the biggest names in country music, will be headlining our main stage but we also have Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Def Leppard stepping onto our stage for the first time. Without question, this will be the most epic rock’n’roll party this valley has ever seen!”
Celebrating its impressive 42nd year, the 2025 event will merge rock ’n’ roll royalty with country music’s top talent, bridging genres and generations and promising an unforgettable experience for festival attendees far and wide.
As Aldean returns to the Country Thunder stage for the first time since 2015, Zimmerman enjoys his headlining debut across the festival brand and Def Leppard takes the stage for the very first time, it's bound to be a weekend that country music fans will not want to miss.
Founded in 1983, Country Thunder Saskatchewan is the longest-running music festival in North America and has welcomed well over one million fans through its gates since its inception. Over the years, the celebrated stage has seen a who's who of country royalty, including Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Taylor Swift, George Strait, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line and more.
