Well, it's safe to say Bailey Zimmerman kept his promise to bring out some very special guests during his Nissan Stadium main-stage set on the final day of CMA Fest 2025.

The ‘Religiously’ hitmaker teamed up with BigXthaPlug for a momentous performance of their viral anthem, ‘All the Way’. The track is quickly cementing itself as one of the most popular country earworms of the year, with the brooding, heartbroken offering spreading rapidly across TikTok before its arrival in early April.

BigXthaPlug brought his trademark swagger and charisma as he reeled off the verses, with Bailey Zimmerman showcasing his spellbinding vibrato throughout the infectious hook.

The duo linked up backstage at Music City's Billboard Power Players ceremony earlier in the week, where BigX was being honoured with the coveted Innovator of the Year Award.

‘All the Way’ serves as the lead single from the Texas rapper's keenly anticipated country-trap project, which is expected to also feature Shaboozey, Jelly Roll and Post Malone. BigX and Shaboozey teased their new collaboration, ‘Highway Highway’, last month, with fans hoping they release the titanic duet in the coming weeks.

Elsewhere during Bailey Zimmerman's live-wire CMA Fest 2025 set at the Nissan Stadium, the ‘Fall in Love’ crooner joined forces with Josh Ross to perform his recent single, ‘Backup Plan’. Some had predicted that Luke Combs - who sings on the studio version of ‘Backup Plan’ - would be emerging with Zimmerman, but the latter revealed that Combs hadn't ultimately been able to make to the show.

Given how unmistakable Luke Combs’ powerhouse vocals are, stepping in for him is not an envious task. But Josh Ross was an impressive replacement, bringing his sleek, distinctive delivery to the ‘Hurricane’ singer-songwriter's portions of the fiery track.

Another highlight was undoubtedly when Bailey Zimmerman treated the packed-out Nissan Stadium to a commanding rendition of his brand new single, ‘Comin’ in Cold’, which appears on the country prodigy's sophomore album, Different Night, Same Rodeo. The highly anticipated project drops on August 8th, 2025.
