Despite the sweltering heat that took over much of Day 4 of CMA Fest 2023, Alana Springsteen brought a light and breezy set of tunes to the Chevy Riverfront Stage on Sunday (June 11).

Explaining to the Nashville crowd that she's planning to release her debut, full-length record later this year, Springsteen took the opportunity on the coveted CMA Fest stage to tease a few of the tracks expected to be included on the project.

Split into three parts, the second portion of the debut album, Twenty Something: Figuring It Out, is set for release on July 14 and features a handful of tracks that the Virginia native brought to the Riverfront Stage, including 'Hypocrite' and the ode to lost loves everywhere in 'Here's To All My Exes.'

Springsteen also gave the crowd plenty of dancing opportunities during her set with a mashup of her unreleased 'Thinkin' Straight' and Whitney Houston's iconic 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody,' as well as the groovy 'Look I Like' with a surprise chorus or two of Taylor Swift's 'Style' that the Riverfront attendees couldn't get enough of. For the latter, the young singer-songwriter also hopped down from the stage to spend a few moments up close and personal with the sea of old and new fans.

The 'My Myself & Why' singer also took her turn solo behind the keys to play another unreleased tune, 'Amen.' Written as a promise to herself to live on her own terms, the song encourages listeners to always be them and never apologize for it, which made for quite the touching moment along the Cumberland River.

Before winding down the eight-song set, Springsteen treated fans to her current standout hit, 'Goodbye Looks Good On You.' Originally featuring Mitchell Tenpenny's gravelly vocals, the rising entertainer subbed in the voices of hundreds of CMA Fest attendees in his place.

Ever the charmer, Springsteen showcased a heaping dose of new music to come while also reminding festival-goers why she's one of the brightest new voices in country music... and throwing in a Taylor Swift cover will always be a cherry on top.
