The 2026 instalment of the Canadian country fest is set for August 15 and 16th, with a stacked roster of artists set to descend on Montreal's Parc Jean-Drapeau this summer. 

Country-pop trailblazer Thomas Rhett and folk titans Mumford & Sons have been unveiled as the stellar headliners, with other heavyweights set to join them in Quebec. 

Jon Pardi, Koe Wetzel, Turnpike Troubadours and Old Dominion have been confirmed as direct support, while a host of country chart-toppers and fast-emerging artists have also been added to the line-up, including Carly Pearce, Max McNown, Elizabeth Nichols, Jonah Kagen, Cameron Whitcomb, Waylon Wyatt and Laci Kaye Booth.

Excitingly, the organisers have revealed the pre-festival extravaganza, Lasso in the City, will be returning this year on Friday, August 14th, with the line-up still to be announced.

Lasso Montréal 2025 welcomed a fleet of country's finest to their action-packed bill, including 

headlining sets from Bailey Zimmerman and Jelly Roll.

Friday's sizzling performances included Shaboozey, Charles Wesley Godwin, Wyatt Flores, Willow Avalon, The Jack Wharff Band and plenty of more, while Saturday saw the likes of Riley Green, Tucker Wetmore, Cameron Whitcomb, Dasha, Kashus Culpepper and more take the stage.

Lasso Montréal

Rhett played music in both junior high and high school. He later chose to study communications at Lipscomb University in Nashville, but the draw of Music City was too much. He eventually dropped out to pursue music full-time. 

Thanks to his songwriting prowess, Rhett landed a publishing deal with Big Machine Label Group. In the early stages of his professional career, he co-wrote singles for Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Lee Brice, among others.  

arrived in 2013, and two years later he followed it up with 

 His sophomore release was nominated for Album of the Year at the ACM Awards. The single 'Die a Happy Man' from the album would go on to win Single of the Year at the ACMS and Song of the Year at the CMAs. 

. The latter marks the first of a double album release.

In 2020, the ACMs named Rhett Entertainer of the Year, and one year later he earned the title Male Artist of the Year.

Famed country band Old Dominion have had a long and winding history that has led to them securing an astounding seven consecutive CMA Vocal Group of the Year trophies, as well as eight ACM Group of the Year awards.

Known for their catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, the group formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2007. Taking their name from the nickname for Virginia, for which all of the band's members have some sort of tie to, Old Dominion consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Matthew Ramsey, guitarist and keyboardist Trevor Rosen, drummer Whit Sellers, bassist Geoff Sprung (bass guitar) and guitarist Brad Tursi.

, showcased their unique sound and songwriting abilities, leading to several hit singles like 'Snapback,' 'Break Up with Him,' 'Song for Another Time' and more. The band's follow-up albums, including

He emerged onto the scene in the early 2010s, when classic country was still largely seen as old hat.

Pardi’s breakthrough 2014 single, ‘Up All Night’, was pop enough to fit into the existing paradigm, while introducing the world to Pardi’s penchant for a more retro, traditional-leaning style.

 saw Pardi hitting his stride, and the project produced a string of prolific singles, such as ‘Heartache on the Dance Floor’, ‘Night Shift’ and ‘Dirt on My Boots’.

Pardi’s increasing prominence was recognised at the 2017 CMA Awards, as he won the coveted New Artist of the Year prize.

Pardi returned emphatically in 2020 with

The project found Pardi leaning into the party-puns that so often get linked to his last name, with the Californian highlighting that he’s just as good at honouring the neon lights (‘Tied One On’) as he is at capturing the after-hours, tear-in-my-beer melancholy (‘Starlight’).

Arguably Pardi’s most assured record was 2022’s

A prominent figure in the country-rock scene hailing from Pittsburgh, Texas, Koe Wetzel has become one of the biggest disruptors in the country genre.

Since the release of his debut album, 2015's Out on Parole, he made quite the name for himself as the independent hell raiser from Texas, with follow-up albums including his universally beloved Noise Complaint and 2019's Harold Saul High.

With his major label debut coming in 2020, dubbed Sellout to poke fun at how he would be perceived after being independent up until that point, he proves to his fans far and wide that he was the same rebel rouser that they loved... just with a little more financial backing now. The album included standout, career-defining hits like 'Kuntry & Wistern,' 'Drunk Driving' and 'Good Die Young,' and was followed by the smoldering Hell Passo in 2022.

By the midpoint of 2024, the Texan unveiled his 2024 effort, 9 Lives, which found a more vulnerable and mature side of the artist, while still maintaining his signature themes of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll on tracks like 'Sweet Dreams,' 'High Road' with Jessie Murph and his long-teased fan-favorite, 'Casamigos.'

Concocting his own mixture of country, rock, hip hop and '90s grunge, Wetzel has earned the favor of millions of fans all around the world, partly thanks to his "don't give a f*ck" attitude and his high-octane live shows.
