Hogs For The Cause is a festival with a difference, enabling fans of alt-country, folk and Americana to come together to celebrate great music, while at the same time helping to raise funds for charity.

After a sizzling 2023 lineup, 2024 is proving to rival last year's excitement with a headlining duo of Band of Horses and Shane Smith & The Saints, who are sure to bring the heat come April.

Also tapped for the 2024 bill are exciting up-and-comers Tanner Usrey, Drayton Farley, Cole Chaney, The Mountain Grass Unit, Yasmin Williams, The Iceman Special, Gyasi, Jive Talk, Deltaphonic, Grace Bowers and more.

Hogs For The Cause is committed to easing the financial strain placed on families struggling with paediatric brain cancer, which is the number one terminal cancer for children in the US. 

In 2023, the Louisiana-based musical extravaganza treated attendees to blistering sets from the likes of Charles Wesley Godwin, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, The Wilder Blue, The Deslondes, The Sheepdogs, The Devon Allman Project and The Heavy Heavy. 

Excitingly, the 2023 installment of Hogs For The Cause raised an impressive $3.6 million, setting a new record for the festival.

Alongside the array of unforgettable performances, 2023 festival-goers at were also able to enjoy a wonderfully eclectic mix of activities and culinary delights, with the event being widely renowned for its expansive selection of pork dishes.

Maxim is a Country Music Journalist and Holler’s News Editor based in London, UK.
