Returning to the top of the charts, Sam Hunt's 'Outskirts' finds its way to the peak of the UK Radio Country Airplay Chart this week.
Part of his newest collection of tunes, the heartfelt track has been climbing both the UK and US charts since its March 2023 release. It first topped the UK Radio Country Airplay chart during the week of April 28, and also claimed the top spot on the US version of the chart that month.
'Outskirts' jumps from the third spot, dethroning Ashley Cooke's 'your place', which drops to third.
Filling in at the No. 2 position is stalwart Chris Young's 'Young Love & Saturday Nights'. Also taking up spots in the top five are Nate Smith's fiery 'Bulletproof' and Dasha's viral 'Austin' in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Elsewhere in this week's Top 20, Bailey Zimmerman's 'Where It Ends' makes big moves, jumping from No. 22 into the Top 10. Similarly, Chris Stapleton's newest radio offering, 'Think I'm In Love With You', surges twenty-four spots to claim the No. 13 position.
The UK Radio Country Airplay chart is the first genre-specific radio chart in the country, and is produced by Radiomonitor and the CMA's UK Task Force. The data is compiled from several UK country radio stations, including Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine: The Big 615, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio.
