Securing his first ever trip to the top of the UK Radio Country Airplay chart this week is Russell Dickerson's 'Happen To Me.'
Shooting up from last week's spot at No. 3, the infectious single from one of the genre's most fun-loving artists has cemented its spot as one of 2025's Songs of the Summer. Released back in February, the tune name checks Cyndi Lauper's iconic 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,' while also providing an irresistible earworm in true Russell Dickerson fashion. The song, which currently sits in the Top 15 on the US equivalent chart, is set to be featured on Dickerson's forthcoming record, Famous Back Home, releasing on August 22.
Filling the remainder of this week's Top 5 are Bailey Zimmerman & Luke Combs' 'Backup Plan,' Alex Warren & Jelly Roll's 'Bloodline,' Scotty McCreery's Hootie & The Blowfish-backed 'Bottle Rockets' and Jelly Roll's 'Heart of Stone.'
Elsewhere in this week's Top 20, Megan Moroney's sizzling new single, '6 Months Later,' jumps seven spots to No. 7. Meanwhile, Shaboozey & Myles Smith's 'Blink Twice,' Dasha's 'Not At This Party' and Zach Top's 'Good Times & Tan Lines' all re-enter the upper ranks at No. 16, No. 18 and No. 20, respectively.
The UK Radio Country Airplay chart is the first genre-specific radio chart in the country, and is produced by Radiomonitor and the CMA's UK Task Force. The data is compiled from several UK country radio stations, including Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio.
