The UK Country Radio Chart has a new leader this week as Ella Langley's 'weren't for the wind' claims six spots to No. 1.
Included on the deluxe version of her debut record, hungover, 'weren't for the wind' marks Langley's second trip to the top of the chart following her Riley Green-graced duet, 'you look like you love me,' which reached the peak shortly after its release in June 2024. On the US equivalent chart, the Alabama native ranks at No. 12 this week.
Coming in at No. 2 is Kane Brown's 'Backseat Driver,' followed by Eric Church's 'Hands Of Time,' Jordan Davis' 'Bar None' and Megan Moroney's 'Am I Okay?'
Elsewhere, this week's Top 20 sees a few new and returning faces entering the ranks as Morgan Wallen & Post Malone's newest offering, 'I Ain't Comin' Back,' debuts at No. 8.
The UK Radio Country Airplay chart is the first genre-specific radio chart in the country, and is produced by Radiomonitor and the CMA's UK Task Force. The data is compiled from several UK country radio stations, including Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio.
