Although it's now been a few days since Morgan Wallen dropped his new album, One Thing At A Time, the reverberations are still being felt across the country charts and the genre as a whole.
Upon its release, One Thing At A Time became the largest 2023 streaming debut of any album, as well as becoming Spotify's most-streamed country album in a single day by a male artist.
Now, One Thing At A Time has set a new record, posting the biggest US streaming week for a country album.
Wallen has received more than 315 million streams in the space of just four days, overtaking Taylor Swift's much-loved Red (Taylor's Version).
The release of Wallen's new 36-song project has also propelled him back to No. 1 on Billboard's Artist 100 chart.
His moody, beat-driven anthem, ‘Last Night’, also holds onto the top spot on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for a fourth week.
One Thing At A Time is shaping up to be another smash hit in the mould of Wallen's previous record, Dangerous, which remains the only album ever to spend 100 weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.
With the title-track, ‘One Thing At A Time’, now being sent to US Country Radio, it seems that the Sneedville megastar will soon have another No. 1 on his hands.
Fans have tipped the fun, 90s-inspired anthem, ‘Everything I Love’, and the Eric Church-assisted ‘Man Made A Bar’ to join ‘One Thing At A Time’ at the top of the charts in the coming months.
