The winter drags on, but spring is just around the corner, and there's plenty of good stuff blooming at the Grand Ole Opry this March.
After celebrating its incredible 100th birthday in November, which saw 100 debuts hit the coveted stage throughout the year, the hallowed home of country music will be taking a bit of a break from new faces this month with only one debut slated for Ward Davis on March 13.
With a bevy of incredible specialty shows plotted throughout the month, attendees will be able to catch Jelly Roll become the newest inductee into the official country music family on March 10th, as well as a night with Trisha Yearwood & friends on March 22 to benefit Susan G. Komen and the fight to cure breast cancer.
What's more, the Grand Ole Opry will also honor icon Little Jimmy Dickens on March 21, with performances lined up from Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Bill Anderson, The Oak Ridge Boys, 49 Winchester, The Gatlin Brothers and more.
As ever, the long-running variety show will see some of the genre's best and brightest, including modern hitmakers like Ian Munsick, Ashley Cooke, Jackson Dean and more, as well as tried and true entertainers from over the years, with stalwarts Marty Stuart, Riders In The Sky, Rhonda Vincent, John Berry and others making appearances throughout the month.
