After Winter Storm Fern made its mark on Nashville at the tail end of January, Music City is thawing out with some major heat coming from the legendary Grand Ole Opry all February long.
After celebrating its incredible 100th birthday in November, which saw 100 debuts hit the coveted stage throughout the year, the hallowed home of country music will be welcoming several new faces to the circle this month, including The Jack Wharff Band (February 10), Tim Timmons (February 13), Sam Wesley (February 13), Blake Whiten (February 14), Clay Street Unit (February 17) and Red Camel Collective (February 27).
With a bevy of incredible specialty shows plotted throughout February, attendees will be able to catch Conservation Aid on February 11 with performances teed up from Rhett Akins, Thomas Rhett, Gavin Adcock, Muscadine Bloodline, Dustin Lynch, The Castellows, Dylan Marlowe and more. Later in the month, the Opry will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of country icon Ronnie Milsap's induction to the legendary country family. The evening will feature appearances from Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Vince Gill, Ella Langley, Keith Urban, Mark Wills and others.
What's more, the Grand Ole Opry will also ring in the 25th anniversary of the 8x Platinum soundtrack, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, with revered voices and musicians like Billy Strings, Alison Krauss, Dan Tyminski, The Del McCoury Band, Emmylou Harris, Molly Tuttle, Old Crow Medicine Show and others taking the stage.
As ever, the long-running variety show will see some of the genre's best and brightest, including modern hitmakers like Carly Pearce, ERNEST, Noeline Hofmann and Ashley McBryde, as well as tried and true entertainers from over the years, with stalwarts The Oak Ridge Boys, Bill Anderson, Connie Smith, Don Schlitz, Ricky Skaggs and more making appearances throughout the month.
