The weather is reaching peak summer heat as we head into August, and the same can be said as we look at this month's Grand Ole Opry calendar.
Country music's longest-running tradition will welcome a swath of new faces throughout August, most notably being the genre's current heavy hitter, Post Malone.
Taking his first steps into the coveted Circle on August 14, Malone's highly-anticipated Opry debut will come just days before the release of his debut country record, F1-Trillion, which has already spawned hits like 'I Had Some Help' with Morgan Wallen, 'Pour Me A Drink' with Blake Shelton and 'Guy For That' with Luke Combs. He'll be joined by a blockbuster lineup of talent, including Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson and more.
Elsewhere during the month, Americana prodigy Evan Honer will step onto the stage on August 9, while sister trio The Castellows will do the same on August 20.
As we've learned over the decades of the Grand Ole Opry, there really is no bad night to go as each show spotlights a mix of established hitmakers and burgeoning up-and-comers, as well as beloved icons across the genre.
Throughout the month, audiences will be able to see newer acts like Tigirlily Gold, Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry, Carter Faith, Avery Anna, Drake Milligan, Wyatt Flores and many more. Similarly, the Opry will also see a rare appearance from superstar Luke Combs on August 13, as well as Little Big Town and The Oak Ridge Boys on August 20.
Of course, several of the Opry's celebrated stalwarts will also be on hand on various dates, including The Isaacs, Riders In The Sky, Connie Smith, Dailey & Vincent, Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, Mandy Barnett and others.
