Teased extensively across his socials in the lead-up to its release, ‘2 Pair’ arrives less than six months after his lauded new album, The High Road, ensuring the momentum remains high as the country maverick gears up for his tour of the same name.

When chatting to Holler ahead of the arrival of The High Road, Brown revealed that he already had another album up his sleeve, with ‘2 Pair’ seemingly serving as the lead single.

Kane Brown has become synonymous with his ability to flit between genres such as country, Hip Hop and EDM with ease, and ‘2 Pair’ epitomises this, with the ‘Backseat Driver’ singer-songwriter eschewing the traditional-leaning spirit of ‘Like I Love Country Music’ and ‘Fiddle in the Band’ in favour of a more beat-driven, trap feel.

The verses carry a sparse arrangement that consists primarily of Kane Brown's charismatic vocals, alongside a simple drum pattern, before the galvanising, uptempo guitars enter the fray for the infectious hook.
