Tucker Wetmore has shared his debut single, ‘Wine Into Whiskey’, with the Washington singer-songwriter teasing the infectious, beat-driven track across TikTok in recent weeks.
The fast-emerging artist quickly went viral after sharing an array of snippets of both ‘Wine Into Whiskey‘ and ‘Wind Up Missing You’, with Tucker rapidly establishing himself as one of the most exciting new voices to emerge in the modern country landscape.
‘Wine Into Whiskey’ captures Tucker Wetmore's distinctive sound, which blends an 808-fuelled, Hip Hop-leaning beat with Tucker's captivating and unmistakably country vocals.
On the heartbroken new earworm, which was co-written by Tucker alongside Jacob Hackworth and Justin Ebach, the song's protagonist laments how he squandered his chance with the perfect woman. In doing so, drove her to swap out her usual Sauvignon Blanc for something a little stronger (“I turned her callin’ me into callin’ me a mistake / Turned her heart of gold into a heartbreak / If I was her I'd damn sure hate me / I turned her love into pain and her wine into whiskey”).
Now that ‘Wine Into Whiskey’ has been released into the world at long last, fans will be clamouring for Tucker to follow this up with the comparatively rose-tinted, lovestruck ‘Wind Up Missing You’, which the up-and-coming artist continues to tease on socials.
Back in January 2023, Tucker Wetmore signed with Back Blocks Music, with Tucker now looking to keep the momentum going strong as he readies his first ever full-length album.
Tucker is set to join Kameron Marlowe on a number of his 2024 Strangers Tour dates, with shows lined up in Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, Ohio, Florida and more.

Verse 1
“Usually see her with some Sauvignon Blanc in her glass
Sipping slow down she ain't out tipping it back
But if you see her out tonight she'll be flirting with Jack
Yeah and I'm the only one to blame
Ain't the 90 proof type but tonight it'll work
Anything to numb the pain or to drown out the hurt
Tried to tell her ‘bout my kind and boy did she learn
I just ain't the type of soul you save
But she tried
And I did
What I do best
Chorus
I took a good thing and I turned it into goodbye
Took the fire in her eyes put it on ice
Turned that angel's world upside down
Dipped her wins in Tennessee brown
I turned her callin’ me into callin’ me a mistake
Turned her heart of gold into a heartbreak
If I was her I'd damn sure hate me
I turned her love into pain and her wine into whiskey
Verse 2
She said
I was misunderstood but I proved her wrong
I'm the same old me that I've been all along
Now she's lookin’ for some peace in a bottle of strong
Me and No. 7 gettin’ gone
Bridge
Yeah she tried
And I did
What I do best
