Tanner Adell Unveils Souped-Up New Single, 'Silverado'

Rising star Tanner Adell is back behind the wheel, sharing her moody new single 'Silverado.'

Arriving Wednesday (Sept. 4), the briefly teased tune is a dark but hopeful exploration of a life adrift, making for a kinder companion to the star's 'FU-150' from 2023.

Against syrupy, synth-addled sounds, the song chronicles a couple who are down and out, getting high and getting by on what they have: "Roaches in a bottle / Five dollars left in the tank from the bottom / Ash on the console / Scratch off dust on the dash tryna hit the lotto."

The lyrics are desperate and unattached, but still, there is an optimism to Adell's words as she sings of "Just tryna find a silver lining / In a Silverado" and promising, "These Goodyears under us / Gonna get us through the ones in front of us."

'Silverado' arrives not long after the Buckle Bunny artist inked a new deal with Love Renaissance (LVRN) Records, an Atlanta-based label and management company. The new tune, perhaps coupled with the star's spring hit 'Whiskey Blues', could be the first tastes of a new album from the 'Love You a Little Bit' hitmaker under the guidance of this new label.

At the start of the partnership, Adell touched on her future with LVRN Records, sharing, "They have been able to embrace the intricate details of my artistic identity in a way I haven’t experienced before. I could tell right away that LVRN had a firm grasp on my musicality and knew exactly how we were going to collaborate to take my career to the next level.”

This year alone has seen Adell guest on Beyoncé's latest opus, feature on the star-studded Twisters soundtrack, grace a number a festival lineups and more. Now, with 'Silverado', it seems she's revving up to take off.
