Noeline Hofmann will soon be coming home.
The Alberta-bred rising star has been taking her music on the road for the better part of 2024, but now, with her recently released debut EP, Purple Gas, in tow, she is headed homeward this fall.
She recently announced the special hometown shows on social media, writing in a post, "Couldn’t be more excited to announce these headline shows in Calgary & Edmonton with a band of born n bred ‘bertan boys. Get your tickets to come into town for a night and tie one on with us if you know what’s good for you!"
The artist will be taking over Edmonton's Starlite Room on Nov. 30 and Calgary's Palomino on Dec. 7.
Just ahead of the release of her Purple Gas EP, which dropped on Oct. 18, Hofmann took a moment to reflect on her breakout year with Holler.
“It's been a whirlwind,” she explained, recalling the lengthy stints of touring and festival showcases over the last several months. “I've definitely watched a lot of my longtime pipe dreams unfold right before my eyes, which is a surreal feeling.”
It's been a season of dreams realized but also a season of lessons learned for the sky-rocketing star. “We've had some wild curveballs out here ... I've definitely learned a lot about rolling with the punches,” she says.
Tickets for the hometown shows will be available for pre-sale starting Tuesday (Oct. 22) at 10 a.m. local time.
