Logan Shook has been crowned as the winner of Holler's inaugural Songwriter Competition.

After making it through to the final stage - during which fans were called upon to vote on YouTube for their favourite submission - Shook's song 'Back to Georgia' received the winning number of likes.

"I wrote this song when my grandparents died less than a year apart after I moved out to California from Georgia", Shook explained. "I hope it means as much to y’all as it does to me."

'Back to Georgia' is a true ramblin' song, which captures Shook - also a member of the band Sweet Nothins - in a reflective and wistful state.

Competition was tough, with a high volume of entries being submitted from across the world. Whittling the group down to 13, the finalists were announced by Holler on Friday 11th August.

Shook takes home the prize of a brand spanking new Taylor 214ce guitar, as well as a spotlighting New Artist of the Week feature article on the Holler website and coverage across Holler's social media channels.

Keep your eyes peeled for more competitions from Holler soon!
