It's not everyday a headliner personally honors their opening act in front of an audience 15,000 strong, but Jelly Roll is a different kind of star as is his support, Shaboozey.
During the final night of his Beautifully Broken tour, Jelly Roll brought the 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' sensation out on stage, toasting him and his skyrocketing success in front of a packed Nashville crowd.
"It's the last night of the tour and I wanna say it to your face in front of 15,000 people," the headliner told the quickly rising star. "You've got the No. 1 song in the world and you've broken records by having the biggest song on earth. Anybody who says you are a one hit wonder is sadly mistaken. I'm saying you're gonna be here a long time. This will not be the last time you have the No. 1 song in the world."
Jelly Roll is, of course, referring to Shaboozey's smash hit 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)', which is currently celebrating its 19th week atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The party anthem is undoubtedly the song of 2024, but it is also officially the longest reigning solo No. 1 in the history of the mainstream ranking. The tune, itself, is up for four awards at the upcoming 67th annual Grammy awards ceremony, with Shaboozey in the running for Best New Artist.

Assuring the hitmaker that his star is only projected to rise, Jelly Roll continued, "I pray one day you're in the stadiums and I pray I'm opening up for you. You literally could have went on tour with anybody and you picked the Jelly Roll tour."
Sharing all this beside an emotional Shaboozey, the headliner concluded, "You are a fucking man of integrity. I stand beside you. I stand behind you and I stand in front of you. Y'all make some noise for my brother, Shaboozey!"
Arenas and stadiums are no doubt in Shaboozey's future. First, though, the star has his sights set for Europe, the artist embarking on his first headlining trek across the Pond in the spring of 2025.
