UPDATE: Post Malone has now confirmed his new album title is indeed ‘F-1Trillion’, and that it will be released on August 16th.

Ever since his momentous CMA Awards 2023 performance with Morgan Wallen and HARDY, Post Malone has been teasing his eagerly anticipated debut country album. Many of the details surrounding the record remain under wraps, but fans think they might have just discovered the title of the blockbuster album: F-ONETRILLION.

Although not confirmed, there are a couple of intriguing pieces of information that seemingly point towards this being the name of Post Malone's AUSTIN follow-up record.

At the weekend, Post Malone delivered a stellar performance at Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival, bringing out bluegrass phenom Billy Strings. A grainy photo has emerged from the festival of what seems to be some Posty merchandise confirming the album title.

Printed on what appears to be a t-shirt are the words, “Pour Me a Drink’ is a song featuring Blake Shelton on Post Malone's new album, F-1,000,000,000,000”, referencing Posty's collaboration with Blake, which is set to be officially released on June 21st.

At present, it's unclear whether this is an official t-shirt or fan-made, but eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Post Malone has started following a TikTok account called ‘F-ONETRILLION’. The page has no posts, but follows Post Malone's own account, in addition to his official TikTok fan-page, ExtraPosty. A mysterious account under the same name, ‘F-ONETRILLION’, has also emerged on Instagram.

Previously, some had speculated that Post Malone's new album was due to be called City Cowboy, due to the license plate ‘CTYCWBY’ appearing in the ‘I Had Some Help’ music video with Morgan Wallen. Yet it now seems F-ONETRILLION is the leading candidate for the album title, with the name a play on the famous Ford F-150 truck, which has served and continues to serve as the muse for a plethora of country songs.

As a result, the potential title F-ONETRILLION would build on the imagery around Post Malone's previous album, AUSTIN, which featured his truck on the artwork and throughout the vinyl inserts. Fans will recall the now-iconic lyric from AUSTIN's ‘Socialite’, “In LA they tell me my truck is stupid”, with Posty driving a customised Ford Raptor - the VelociRaptor - which is based on none other than the F-150.

The name F-ONETRILLION certainly feels very Post Malone-esque, with the genre-blending maverick putting a fresh spin on a country staple, in much the same way as he's been making the genre his own as he ventures further into the heart of Music City.

We'll have to wait and see whether this is indeed the name of Posty's new project, which remains one of the most keenly awaited albums of 2024, with the bearded crooner teasing another unreleased track, the endearing ‘She Ain't Yours’, on Father's Day.

Either way, it feels as though Post Malone's first ever country album is on the horizon - and we can't wait.
