After travelling through Europe with shows in Berlin, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Hamburg, Carter Faith made it to the London Holler stage this past Sunday (3/10) for C2C Festival.

Talking to Jennie Longdon on stage about her travels, Faith said, "I really got to see a lot of places while I'm over here which is crazy, because I'm from a teeny tiny town in North Carolina. Going to Nashville was a huge dream for me, so getting to be in Europe and the UK because of country music is just so wild to me".

Talking with Longdon before her set, she shared how she came to write her Man EP, "my inspiration behind that was a terrible ex-boyfriend who pissed me off so much that I had to write a song about it, and then I had to do a whole EP about it as well. I got to unleash my rage a little bit in this song". With just her collaborator, Tofer Brown (Jillian Jacqueline, Little Big Town, Jon Pardi), and his guitar accompanying her, we really got to see the depth of her voice and the power it brings to storytelling.

"I'm gonna hopefully put out my first full length record this year, which I'm really excited about - that's how I like to listen to music, top to bottom records. I think it's just a good segue from the music I've put out before and the music I'm gonna put out".

Carter sang us her upcoming track, 'Late Bloomer', out for release on March 22nd, saying, "I'm a late bloomer, I feel like I've come into myself a little later in life than it felt like all my friends did, or everyone else in Nashville. I'm sure I'll feel like that at other times in my life as well, but I just feel like I'm at a point in my life where I'm proud of that now and I think it's a beautiful thing in some ways. Somethings are just worth the wait and teach you things on the wait".

Before she headed out onto the main arena Spotlight stage, Faith gifted those in attendance the opportunity to be able to hear the songs in an intimate setting and hear their stories first, something that was an weekend highlight-setting joy.
