Austin Snell will make his official Grand Ole Opry debut on November 14, after the up-and-coming country-rocker was surprised with a coveted invite from 3 Doors Down frontman, Brad Arnold.
Snell will share the bill with a range of established figures in the industry, with the likes of Wynonna Judd, Charlie Worsham and Kip Moore all due to perform on the same evening.
The Georgia prodigy was visibly moved after receiving the news every country artist wants to hear, with Austin Snell originally believing he was taking part in a media interview over Zoom.
However, he was confused when the lead singer from one of Snell's favourite bands, 3 Doors Down, appeared on-screen, before Brad Arnold proceeded to extend the prestigious invitation.
After having time to let the revelation sink in, Austin Snell took to his socials to express his immense gratitude for the opportunity to perform at one of the most iconic venues in country music.
Snell explained why this special occasion will represent a full-circle moment for him, “I visited the Grand Ole Opry stage in 2018 as a tourist, and on November 14th, I’ll walk across that stage after I play it. It’s unreal what a little belief in yourself and trust in God's plan can do!”.
