Ashley Cooke has notched her first-ever country radio No. 1, her searing ballad 'your place' becoming a fast-ascending chart-topper.
“It is truly an honor to join the legacy of country radio No. 1s,” Cooke shares of the achievement. “Reaching the top of the chart has been a goal of mine since the first time I picked up a microphone and getting to ring the bell with the greatest team at Big Loud and the radio champions I now call friends is all the more rewarding.”
'your place' first impacted radio on Dec. 11, and in the 26 weeks from the song's debut, the track has been the second fastest growing solo female debut single on Country Aircheck / Mediabase in the last ten years.
The track has also spent time reigning atop the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, where it has celebrated a record-breaking number of weeks at No. 1.
'your place' was released on Cooke's acclaimed shot in the dark record in the summer of 2023, an album that has amassed the breakout star a number of smash successes.
She has been taking those songs and more on the road throughout her headlining Shot In The Dark Concert Tour, as well as on Jordan Davis' DAMN GOOD TIME tour, on which she is acting as support through much of the summer.
