Happy Holidays everyone! This festive season may look a little different for all of us this year, but at least our favourite artists are bringing us some Christmas cheer for all to hear.
Here, we bring you the best of the best from this year. You can also find our Country Christmas Playlist below for all your favourites. We hope you have a lovely Christmas and a happy new year!
Lera Lynn – I’ll Be Home For Christmas
Following on from the stunning release of her stunning isolation record 'On My Own', Lera has delivered this sparse and mournful version of this classic festive tearjerker. As part of her festive EP, it's another genuine example of how authentic an artist Lynn is.
Maddie & Tae – We Need Christmas
Country's favourite duo are begging for their Christmas traditions, especially during this horrendous year. While this auto-tuned ballad may be a little blue, you can't help but fall for it's yearning charm.
Carrie Underwood – Little Drummer Boy
The Country mega-star has reimagined some true Christmas hymns for her festive record, this being the highlight. The star here is Underwood's young son Isiah Fisher, who belts out some triumphant verses with his mom. Christmas really is for family.
Rae Lynn - Jingle Bell Drunk
It's Christmas day and everyone's hammered. Rae Lynn's been on the tequila she got in her stocking since she woke up on Christmas Day, grandma's asleep after one too many brandies and Santa himself has succumbed to the hangover after his heaviest night of the year.
Kacey Musgraves – Glittery
We couldn't have Christmas without Kacey. Her Amazon Christmas Special this year is a wholesome treat, with friends joining her for a range of originals and covers. Joined here by Pop prince Troye Sivan, this original is a gentle duet for the early evening after Christmas lunch.
Mitchell Tenpenny - Neon Christmas
It's not lost on Mitchell that this Christmas is going to be different. So this Christmas Honky-Tonk jive finds him where he probably shouldn't be, in the bar. Not sure if it's the best idea but hey, we're not going to be the ones to tell him.
The Mavericks – Happy Holiday
The Mavericks aren't adverse to a Christmas tune. This, taken from their christmas album 'Hey! Merry Christmas' is a mellow little cover of the Irving Berlin classic. Feliz Navidad to you Raul.
Jimmie Allen - What Does Christmas Mean
It's impossible not to dance to Jimmie Allen's 'What Does Christmas Mean' - it is, if you ask us, THE feel-good track of the holidays. With super catchy backing vocals and a contagious sense of joy throughout, we simply can't get this festive hit out of our heads.
Ingrid Andress – Christmas Always Finds Me
A delicate and angelic message of hope, Ingrid Andress' 'Christmas Always Finds Me' is a festive lullaby, perfect for snuggling up and getting cosy to. Andress' voice perfectly weaves itself within soft piano and cinematic string sections, making this track a perfect reflective go-to for the holiday season.
