If we've learned anything in recent years, it's that country music truly is more than countrywide. In fact, as evidenced by Tønder Festival, country music is worldwide!

The global celebration of the genre is expected to once again take over the remote Danish town of Tønder in August of 2024.

As it has in recent years, the four-day weekend will bring together some of the most renowned Americana, folk and roots artists from all around the world.

Here, we'll have all the up-to-date news on line-up announcements, the latest ticket details, as well as any further exciting info and details for Tønder Festival 2024.

The festival enjoyed yet another triumphant installment in 2023 with an exciting lineup anchored by U.S. acts like Sierra Ferrell, Sarah Jarosz, Nickel Creek, Shane Smith & The Saints, Joshua Ray Walker and Kelsey Waldon, as well as some UK gems, including Michael McGoldrick, The Unthanks and others.

Also on the 2023 lineup were artists from Ireland (Frankie Gavin & De Dannan, The Mary Wallopers, Lisa O’Neill), Canada (The Dead South, Ariel Posen, Lawrence Maxwell), Scotland (Niteworks, Mec Lir, Gnoss) and Sweden (David Ritschard).

Tønder Festival also obviously featured a healthy dose of hometown Denmark talent, such as Allan Olsen, Sorten Muld, Mallemuk, The Tarantino Twist Show, Bjonko and others.

2023 continued to build upon the prestige earned from the 2022 edition of the festival, which saw performances from the likes of Blazin’ Fiddles, The Mavericks, Tami Neilson, Keb’ Mo’, Katie Pruitt and Sean Rowe.
