After another astounding long weekend at the Norwegian country music festival, Norsk Countrytreff, attendees are keeping their fingers crossed that the celebrated event will once again take over the quaint city of Breim come summer 2025.
The forthcoming event will mark the 30th anniversary of Norsk Countrytreff, which has become one of the most exciting European country festivals of the year.
Across its two stages, festivalgoers will be able to catch performances from acts hailing from all across the globe, much like the 2024 edition which saw the likes of iconic band Asleep at the Wheel, reigning CCMA Entertainer of the Year Jade Eagleson and Norwegian natives Vassendgutane anchor the exciting four-day spread.

Though the weather for 2024 turned out to be a bit moody to start, the weekend ended with the beautiful vibes of summer as more than 24,000 people enjoyed the full days of country music's best.
Among the country and Americana talent on display this past July were the likes of Hellbillies, The Kody Norris Show, Jonas Fjeld, Chris Kläfford, Rotlaus, Crashville, Bad Brooks, Kinsey Rose & The Boots Band, Kruttrøyk and Jens-Petter Dyrdal, among others.
First launched in 1995 with Bobby Bare as its headliner, the festival has been held every year except for 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Over the years, several major headliners have graced the Norsk Countrytreff stage, including global stars like Charley Pride, Tanya Tucker, Marty Stuart, Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, the Bellamy Brothers, Ricky Skaggs, Pam Tillis, Patty Loveless, Gene Watson, Rhonda Vincent, Mark Chesnutt, Carlene Carter, Don Williams and Connie Smith.
