Brandi Carlile’s extravagant Girls Just Wanna Weekend is returning to the sunny, sandy beaches of Riviera Maya, Mexico in January 2026.
Running from the 14th through the 18th for four days of festivities, the seventh annual event will feature a smorgasbord of the best female acts in modern music.
Once again expected to boast an all or mostly female-fronted lineup, the celebrated weekends of music and relaxation have seen many of Carlile's nearest and dearest friends making appearances over the years, including Allison Russell, Janelle Monae, Sarah McLachlan, KT Tunstall, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Brandy Clark and so many more.

2026 Highlights
Anchored by the Grammy-winning entertainer herself, Carlile was joined by special guests and others across the 2026 weekend, including headliners The Chicks and Sam Smith.
“Each year, Girls Just Wanna Weekend grows into something even more special – a space where music, love, and inclusivity shine," Carlile offered. "This lineup is a dream come true, and I’m so proud to share it with a community that means the world to me!”
