Jeremy is a Singapore-based writer with a supreme passion for country music and the music business. He was a big pop music listener in the better half of his high school years until a spontaneous first trip to the United States introduced him to country music.

Kellie Pickler's "Best Days of Your Life" was his introduction to the genre, along with Josh Turner's "Why Don't We Just Dance" Dierks Bentley's "I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes" and Alan Jackson's "I Still Like Bologna." After hearing those songs, he instantly fell in love with country's storytelling.

Subsequently, when he returned home, he was hooked to Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 Countdown. The show not only exposed him to classic and '80s/'90s country, but to the music business as well.

After having his life changed by country music, he's now on a mission to propel the genre's reach and consumption in Singapore and the rest of South East Asia.
