Known for their catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, the group formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2007. Taking their name from the nickname for Virginia, for which all of the band's members have some sort of tie to, Old Dominion consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Matthew Ramsey, guitarist and keyboardist Trevor Rosen, drummer Whit Sellers, bassist Geoff Sprung (bass guitar) and guitarist Brad Tursi.
Their debut album, 2015's Meat and Candy, showcased their unique sound and songwriting abilities, leading to several hit singles like 'Snapback,' 'Break Up with Him,' 'Song for Another Time' and more. The band's follow-up albums, including Happy Endings (2017), Time, Tequila & Therapy (2021), Memory Lane (2023) and Barbara (2025), further solidified their reputation and adding a smattering of chart-topping songs to their hit-laden catalogue.
