The Long Road Festival has been postponed until August 2022.
In a video message to attendees, organiser Baylen Leonard spoke of how they’d been monitoring the situation as the UK moves cautiously out of lockdown and what that means for music festivals. Having liased with US artists, they have taken the decision to postpone this year. In a statement, The Long Road said “At its core, the festival is the meeting point of a global Country community and following extensive conversations with US artists we have taken the tough decision not to move ahead with the festival in 2021. The limitations to curate this year’s line-up and wider considerations around the running of large scale events here in the U.K. will ultimately prevent us from delivering a festival that stays true to our founding ethos.”
Now, organisers look ahead and begin to plan for 2022 - where they have brought their dates forward to the August bank holiday weekend for the third edition of the popular country festival. Tickets for this year's festival shall be valid for 2022, but those unable to attend shall be given a full refund. The event will take place August 26th - 28th at Stanford Hall in Leicestershire. Line-up announcements will follow closer to the time.
