It might've seemed like the 2023 CMA Fest line-up was already as good as it could possibly get - but it's safe to say country icon Reba McEntire will have something to say about that.
Reba has just been added to the summer festival's line-up, with the ‘Fancy’ hitmaker confirmed as the ‘Artist Of The Day’ on Friday, June 9.
She'll be performing at the CMA Close Up Stage inside Fan Fair X, where she'll be offering fans a unique insight into her career so far.
Reba's appearance will serve as a tribute to the history of CMA Fest, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
When it first started, the festival prided itself on its amalgamation of meet-and-greet experiences, merchandise stalls, intimate performances and other fan-oriented events.
Garth Brooks still tells the story of how he stayed for 23 hours straight signing autographs at an early instalment of CMA Fest, which was originally called Fan Fair.
While Reba won't be expected to challenge this Herculean effort from Garth, attendees at the 2023 event will be hoping they'll get to meet the country veteran during her CMA Close Up stage appearance.
Also set to perform at the 2023 CMA Fest is an array of country music stars, including Luke Combs, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Carly Pearce, Tim McGraw, Lainey Wilson and more.
