It has been confirmed that Millport Country Music Festival will not return in 2023.
In a statement made by the event organisers on Facebook, it said:
"Following a thorough review of 2022 and taking into account commercial, financial and personal factors, the Millport Country Music Festival team have taken the extremely difficult decision not to progress planning for the festival in 2023."
It continues; "We are unsure what the future holds at the moment, however we would like to say thank you to everyone that has supported the festival in recent years and helped us bring an event of this scale to this wonderful island."
Here, we'll have all the up-to-date news on line-up announcements, confirmation of weekend dates and all the latest ticket and festival pass details if the festival returns in 2024.
Set on the beautiful Isle of Great Cumbrae, which is in the Firth of Clyde in the West of Scotland, Millport held a successful event in August 2022.
The weekend saw sets from Candi Carpenter, Robert Vincent, Alyssa Bonagura, Kezia Gill, Sunny Sweeney, Tim Prottey-Jones, Two Ways Home, Ruthie Collins and many more.
The festival was founded back in 1995 as the Millport Country and Western Weekend. Since then, it's gone from strength to strength, featuring country music artists from Scotland, across the UK, Ireland and the US.
