HARDY is continuing his foray into the rockier outer edges of country music, with the Mississippi wordsmith having been booked for Welcome to Rockville 2023.

The ‘God's Country’ star is set to take the stage alongside an array of rock's heavy-hitters, including Slipknot, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice Cooper and more.

The four-day Floridian festival will kick off on Thursday May 18, with HARDY scheduled to perform the following day.

HARDY will be taking his sprawling array of hits to the historic location of Daytona Beach next Spring. Recent tracks such as ‘SOLD OUT’, ‘JACK’ and ‘TRUCK BED’ are all bound to set the crowd alight.

These are taken from HARDY's upcoming record, the mockingbird & THE CROW, which will be made available to stream on January 20 2023. The ambitious project is divided into two halves, with the first representing HARDY's classic, country-leaning sound, while the latter part of the album introduces rock and metal-inspired elements.

The project will feature HARDY's frequent collaborator, Morgan Wallen, who makes a hotly anticipated appearance on ‘red’. Holler caught up with HARDY earlier this month to ask him about the close friendships he has with Wallen and his fellow Nashville singer-songwriter, Ernest, along with the prospect of a collaboration between the three artists.

HARDY continues to hammer away at the wall that stands between the world of country music and the world of rock. The extent to which the two will cross-pollinate in future remains to be seen, but HARDY's set at Welcome to Rockville 2023 undoubtedly represents a key breakthrough in his quest for genre-fluidity.
