Taken from Cole Bradley’s Back on a Beach EP, the video for ‘Way I Drink’ finds the singer and his friends letting loose and getting litty with a countrified pop punk party anthem that will keep the summer going long after the sun’s stopped shining.
“The song is an ode to those who are the life of the party - and that’s me when I’m on the lake with my pals or on stage in front of a rowdy crowd,” Cole Bradley says about the song.
If Jimmy Eat World ever made a country record it might sound something like Cole Bradley’s ‘Way I Drink.’ The super fun mix of bouncy pop punk and beach party country twang shows another side to Bradley’s unique country sound, and now this party anthem has an appropriately wild and summery video to go with it.
“The making of the ‘Way I Drink’ music video was an absolute blast,” Cole Bradley told us. “I love how the video captured the real-life shenanigans that my friends and I get into on a wild summer day or on a fun night out.”
Whether he’s playing the Bluebird Café in Nashville or blowing the roof off the Bridgestone Arena, Cole Bradley is always guaranteed to get the party started, and the video, directed by Oliver Banyard captures Cole Bradley at one of his life live shows
“The fact that Oliver Banyard was able to shoot a few of our epic live concerts this summer turned out to be just the thing that tied the whole project together," Bradley explained. "We had some great clips from our show opening for Dustin Lynch and from our hometown headlining show – and I thought Oliver did an amazing job of capturing the excitement of what a Cole Bradley concert is all about.”
“My favorite videos are the one’s that capture moments of pure joy and there was a lot of those moments in this one," Bradley says. "I hope the audience kicks back with a few cold ones and lets this video get them in the mood to party!”
